Is it possible to become a Private Military Contractor without joining the service or the police force? Is it possible for the company to train you from the ground up? Basicly, is there a way a civilian can become a contractor without any military or police experience?

  1. Not really as they usually always want some impressive army credentials. You may need to do at least a tour of duty first as any idiot can shoot a gun. They may do if you're lucky but it is very unlikely.
  2. yes the military hires civilian contractors.
  3. yes you can
  4. As far as I know the almost all (if not every) PMC only takes people who are ex-Military. You should go military anyway; it'll make you proud to serve your country and give you experience you can't get anywhere else. Once a Soldier, Sailor, Marine, or Airman, always a Soldier, Sailor, Marine or Airman. (Oh, and don't forget the Coast Guard :-)
  5. i think they like to see that a person has law enforcement or military in their background U may be able to get hired without it but u'll have to train urself firearms, unarmed self defense, etc
