how do you become a independent contractor as a RN or start your own Travel nursing agency? ?
I am still lost about what goes on with being an independent contractor. I really just don't know where to begin. Can anyone explain this more indepth for me. Thanks

- the scope of both are similar but different!!! as a independent contractor all you need is a written contract and remember you will be responsible for your own ss and 401ks!!! but as a company you best bet would be to write a business plan and then contact the local sba and ask for there assistance in getting loans or any other assistance!!
- Independent contractor means you don't work for a company. You work for yourself. So tell everyone that you are available for work. When they call you , arrange how you will get paid. As long as you are licensed , you are able to work. Start today. You could pay $10 at www.GODADDY.com or Yahoo to buy a domain name. Then open your own website to advertise yourself..
